Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker Destiny Etiko has reacted after controversial online activist Verydarkman (VDM) threw shade at her recently acquired Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.

The excitement heightened when celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut estimated the car’s price at a jaw-dropping ₦350 million.
However, VDM wasn’t buying it. He accused Nollywood stars, including Destiny, of exaggerating their car purchases to create unrealistic social media expectations. According to him, celebrities should be transparent about their cars’ actual manufacturing years instead of misleading fans with inflated narratives.
Stanley Ontop Defends Destiny Etiko
In response to VDM’s remarks, Destiny’s close colleague, Stanley Ontop, fiercely defended her, slamming the online critic for questioning her financial capability. He emphasized that Destiny earns significant revenue from YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, making her luxury purchase well within her means.
