In a video shared on his Instagram page, he claimed that the commission is attempting to frame him due to his criticism of its chairman, Olanipekun Olukoyede.

According to him, a prominent lawyer and a social media influencer recently visited the EFCC office, providing officials with video clips and a picture of him spraying money in an effort to build a case against him.

“EFCC Abuja, I heard you had two visitors today—one an influencer and the other a highly influential lawyer. You might wonder how I know this, but I have informants in your office. They came because of me, bringing clips and a picture of me spraying money, saying this was an opportunity to come after VeryDarkMan,” he alleged.

He further claimed that an EFCC officer acknowledged the situation, stating that he had been outspoken against the agency and its leadership. According to him, this alignment of interests has led to a coordinated effort to frame him.
