The debate started after a leaked audio conversation surfaced, in which Sophia alleged that Burna Boy had a one-night stand with her and failed to fulfill his promise of buying her a Lamborghini.

Reacting via a TikTok video, Vee expressed concerns about the increasing trend of transactional relationships in Nigeria. She stated that many Nigerian women rely on men for financial survival, highlighting the need for a change in societal values.

“She [Sophia Egbueje] wanted to sleep with someone in exchange for a Lamborghini. That’s fantastic,” Vee said sarcastically. However, she was more shocked by the fact that the conversation was secretly recorded. “Who was the person recording the conversation? Reveal yourself. That’s the devil’s friend.”

Vee emphasized that the issue of transactional sex has become deeply ingrained in Nigerian society. “This is the way things have been, and that’s how it’s always going to be. It’s demand and supply,” she stated.

She also pointed out that while many may debate the morality of such situations, the reality remains unchanged. “There will always be men willing to pay for sex, and there will always be women willing to have sex for money.”

According to her, this trend is fueled by survival instincts, particularly among Nigerian women. “A lot of women are in survival mode, and it’s bringing out the worst in people. It needs to be checked,” she concluded.
