According to reports from SELF MADE NAIJA, Sophia accused Burna Boy of reneging on a promise to buy her a Lamborghini after an intimate encounter. She took to social media to call him out for failing to fulfill his alleged commitment.
In response, Burna Boy posted a video on his Instagram story on Friday, seemingly mocking Sophia for making a fuss over the unfulfilled promise.
Amid the controversy, Chloe Bailey appears to have reacted by unfollowing Burna Boy on Instagram.
SELF MADE NAIJA recalls that dating rumors between Burna Boy and Chloe Bailey began circulating in December 2024, after the two were spotted getting cozy in a private section of a Nigerian club.
Their relationship was seemingly confirmed on February 6, 2025, when Burna Boy surprised Chloe with a matching Rolex wristwatch during a romantic dinner date in Lagos. In another viral clip from the evening, they were seen embracing as Chloe affectionately said, “I love you.”
Burna Boy’s close associates, including popular Nigerian dancer Poco Lee, were also present at the intimate gathering.
