In her response, she warned 2Baba that he would have to face her and others for daring to leave Annie.
Teebillz, displeased with Makinwa’s stance, issued a stern warning, telling her to stay out of people’s family affairs. He suggested that she had yet to reach the level of love and forgiveness demonstrated by women who have children with their partners.
His reaction sparked widespread discussions on social media, with many speculating that the exchange could strain his relationship with Makinwa, especially given her close friendship with his ex-wife, Tiwa Savage.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Teebillz took to Instagram on Saturday to express regret over his comments. Admitting that he overreacted, he explained that his actions stemmed from his deep affection for 2Baba and Annie.
He further acknowledged that his perspective was based on outdated information and expressed his willingness to apologize privately to Makinwa to mend their differences.

I hope you can overlook my ignorance. Hopefully, I get the chance to apologize privately and resolve our differences. My reaction mirrored exactly what I accused you of. I hope you forgive my emotional incompetence. Please @tokemakinwa.”*
