Veteran Nollywood actress Morenike Alausa, popularly known as Mama Ereko, has opened up about her decision to remain single after the passing of her husband.

Highlighting the pressures of marriage, she explained that its physical, emotional, and sexual demands often contribute to premature aging in women.
“If I had remarried, you wouldn’t be admiring my elegance and beauty at this age,” she stated.
Mama Ereko further added, “The stress of intercourse makes people age faster. I don’t need a man anymore—I’ve already become one myself. In fact, I can’t even recall what it feels like to have sex.”
